Data Temple

The Data Temple is located at Otherworld Philadelphia. The challenge with this design was creating a welding jig that could be used to fabricate 24 round-rod sculptures in a grid inside an infinity mirror room. All of the sculptures had to support LEDs that ran from floor to ceiling and accomidate a space for an interactive pillar in the center of each group of 4.

Bubble Guts

Bubble Guts is part of the Otherworld Philadelphia attraction. You enter the room after walking into the Wasteland monsters mouth and traveling into it's stomach. Most of the design was done in blender and then translated into a series of material callouts and components for an inflatable manufacturer in china to fabricate the final product. The entire room is encaced in an inflated substrate with zones of transmissable ripstop fabric allowing LED product to illuminate the space through the inflated material.

Warehouse DJ Booth

The Warehouse DJ Booth is an interactive artifact located within the Warehouse district at Otherworld Philadelphia. It's essentially a lightbox with an enclosure for speakers and bass shaker. It also accomidates a number of touchpads that allow limited control over the music and lighting in this area.

Wasteland Monster

This work took place during my time at Otherworld for their location that opened in 2023 in Philadelphia. It required a combination of reworking the model in Blender, providing files to our CNC technition to cut out the sculpt from large blocks of EPS foam. It was then assembled on a tubesteel frame and had final details hand carved into it. From there it was fiberglassed and prepped to ship to the location.

Once it arrived on location it was reassembled and all of the seams were fiberglassed. It then recieved a base primer coat, while both of the eyes were prepped with flat projection gray paint and the final paint was done by the concept artist Monster Steve.
